Here are a few pictures from our final Championship swim meet. We really had a fun time watching the kids improve so much over a 6 week span.
MV was a strong swimmer, but did not the correct motion for any strokes. She ended up as our teams #1 swimmer in the
breastroke for her age! That was pretty exciting to see, though I don't think she even knew it! CH could swim when we started, but she wasn't strong in the water and could not swim or float on her back. She
surprised me one day by swimming the backstroke for the whole 25 yards and started swimming it in meets! The Championship Meet was her first time to ever try the breaststroke in a meet and she did great! CR wasn't swimming without a
kick board when we started this season and kicked and screamed when his coach would make him swim without it. Once he got rid of the
kick board in meets and started winning ribbons, he really started to have fun! I can't wait to see how they do next year with one summer of swim instruction under their belts!
