River Rats!

Last week we spent vacation time with Robbie's parents on the TN River. They were super generous to buy a ski boat for all the BIG and little kids alike to enjoy! We had such a fun time teaching the kids to ski and playing with them on the tube and in the water! Somehow, we never got tired of all the fun in the sun and water! (Well, maybe Robbie, our Captain, got a little tired of pulling kids, but he really enjoyed it too!)

Somehow, Mimi was our designated babysitter and didn't get to ride on the boat much. This was a late afternoon cruise just for pleasure!

Pretty impressive! Robbie put CH on top of his skis! It made her want to try it on her own!

My Dad bought the kids an "Ez Ski Trainer" to help teach them to ski. Here is CH taking Little E for a ride!

The boys preferred easy rides on the tube with Mommy! Looks like this was still a little too fast for Little E!

This was really too fast and not as fun without Big Sis!

CH got up on skis! These were hooked together to help her, but she actually got up on the adult skis with no strap helping her first try! They were so huge though that we went and bought some just for the kids so that they could learn better!

MV did great as well! She actually skied all the way around the 300 acre island in the middle of the River!

At then end of every boat trip, we came back the house for some fun in the pool.

Our kids had to practice swimming for our swim team, but we tried to make it fun by racing cousin Stephen!

Finally, this little one was up from a nap to have some fun with us!
