I couldn't help putting one "work" picture in here as Robbie would call it!! It was super fun for them to help me paint the bee hives - does this count as art class??

School Work!
Robbie looked through my blog last night and said it was time for me to post some educational stuff! He said it looks like we work our kids too much!! Well, this picture might look like work as well, but it was really a fun way to do math today. We tilled our garden over the weekend, so today's project was to measure the sides of the garden in feet, calculate that number into yards and then figure out the entire perimeter of the garden in both feet and yards. Obviously, the three older ones were all working on different levels, but we were all able to participate together and get outside to enjoy a beautiful day!! It was also neat to see how their brains worked outside of the worksheet mode where straight memorization can lead to a lazy mind!!

ReplyDeleteWell, they sure appear to have lots of fun while they work! Kenzie likes to crank up the music while we clean, so we can sing and dance and make "work" fun. Looks like you are doing a great job of keeping school and life fun!!!
