Little Builders!

Saturday was project day around the house, so we started out by driving into town for a Lowe's trip. Some kid in our family is pretty observant and noticed the sign on the front door stating there was a kid's workshop starting in 15 minutes! I have always wanted to take the kids to one of these building workshops, but we have never seemed to remember which day they were on or make the time for them. So, it was kind of nice that we didn't have to plan for this free adventure, it just happened upon us! Both parents came out with our heart rates elevated, though, with all the attention that was needed at the same time! Robbie had 3 kids on his side to help make sure the right pieces were going in the right spot with all the nails in the right holes. Forget about making sure they were straight, there wasn't time for that since my competitive husband was trying to beat the dad across the table who had 3 kids to help as well! MV, Baby W and I were on the opposite side sitting by the competition! We made sure our pieces were nice and straight and no nails were hammered in crooked! That is, until Baby W decide he wanted the nails and screamed uncontrollably until Mommy took him away! I think the kids have the next workshop memorized so that us parents don't forget to take them back!
