Today is another dreary day in West TN, but we decided to brave the cold, wet weather for a very short nature walk! We cut limbs from 4 different trees/bushes to paint and study for a science experiment. We mashed the cut ends and put them in a glass jar of warm water in a sunny spot inside to see what will happen! Will they grow? Die? Bud? Who knows in this house! Check back in a couple of weeks for an update!

We put water in the cup. It was warm water. We're going to leave it on there for a few months because we read in a book it would do something.
