MV, our first born, turned 9 years old over the weekend! We let her have a party with her friends from school for the first time since she was 4! The girls and their families all came over for a night outside cooking hot dogs and smores over the fire and playing capture the flag by moonlight! We tend to be more family oriented that friend oriented, but having all these girls over to play made me want to get them together more often! They were all a lot of fun to have around!
Thanks to my wonderful sister for coming in town and helping us celebrate! She made over 48 cupcakes for us with homemade icing! Yum!Here are a couple of pics from MV's 4th birthday party!
MV, We are so very proud of the young lady you are becoming! You are a hard worker, responsible in the home and at school, most always have a happy heart, you are respectful to adults and your peers, you are tenderhearted and very forgiving! We pray that as you grow in Christ, you will learn treasure Him above everything else: friends, knowledge, money, entertainment and what ever else your heart desires. For only with Jesus, will you be truly happy!
oh my goodness!! While there this weekend, I was noticing how old MV looked. Looking at these old pics, made it so much more obvious. :( I can't believe she's that old! So glad we got to celebrate her b-day with you!
