Friday night we went to a local high school football game. Oh, the misery I had people watching all the teenagers!! It sure made me stop in my thoughts and give thanks for the following:
216. Little girls who aren't into the "pop culture"
217. Little girls who honestly desire modesty
218. So thankful we are not into "boyfriends" and "girlfriends" at this age
219. Little girls who want Mom to stay at birthday parties (not that I would leave even if they wanted me to!)
220. Little girls who love to go on Daddy dates
221.Little boys who like to get dirty
222. and wrestle
223. Little boys who like to hunt224. Little boys who hold the door open for Mom and the elderly and other women
225. Little boys who love to throw the football or kick the soccer ball with Dad after school
226. A mighty fine husband who teaches his little boys that cleaning the house for mom is an act of service and honor, not just "a woman's job"
227. Children who are learning discernment and make good decisions when Mom and Dad are not around.
228. Sweet prayers from little hearts asking for help in self-control and kindness
229. Thank you, Lord, for these little lives you have place in my care for Your appointed purpose!
